This year, Lee Edward Fodi, worked with our third grade classes.  He led students in an interactive drawing workshop, in which each participant created a monster-like character. Finally, each child was encouraged to write a story based on the character he or she created.  Many students at Blackwell have enjoyed reading his Kendra Kandlestar books, which are available in the libary for checkout.  For more information, visit his website: http://www.leefodi.com/home.html
