Each year we celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday, which is March 2nd.

---------to read 87,824 minutes this month, Blackwell! The final count is in!

Miss Hopper’s 5^th grade led the way with a total of 18,736 minutes! Way to go, Miss Hopper’s class!! Mrs. Gerritt’s class read 13,385 and had more minutes per student than any other class. Mrs. Galarpe’s kindergarten read 12,290 minutes and deserves an honorable mention!

Finally, one student read 5,300 minutes last month. It was Grayson from Mrs. Mangan’s 4^th grade. You may see Grayson carrying his new Seattle Seahawks messenger bag, so congratulate him. We bet he can recommend some good books to read too!
